Thomas Peterson

Of Counsel


 

Thomas Peterson serves as “of counsel” to Immaculata Law Firm. Thomas was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1986 and has practiced exclusively in the area of municipal finance.  He has delivered bond counsel opinions for traditional government general obligation bonds and lease financing bonds as well as private activity bonds for multifamily housing, solid waste and manufacturing facilities.  He has also approved numerous short term tax warrant financings for Indiana governmental issuers.

Thomas has earned degrees from Duke University (1983- AB magna cum laude) and Duke University School of Law (1986 – JD Alaska Law Review).  Additionally, he received a University Diploma with Honors from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England (1985).  He is a member of both the Indiana Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Thomas resides in Indianapolis, Indiana and has three grown children.  He welcomed a first grandchild in 2022 and she is his joy.
